MOSCOW, RUSSIA | TASS | Tonight, Israeli authorities announced strikes against Iran, including nuclear sites across the country. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation aimed at disrupting Iran’s nuclear program and warned that the strikes would continue.
The reaction was noticeably different on Friday than it was after the last time Israel attacked Iran, when several countries provided backup and resources.
Iran launched retaliatory strikes on Israel after Netanyahu said Israel began an operation to push back on Iran's "threat to Israel's very survival."
In response, Pakistan swiftly denied any such commitment. Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif took to social media platform X to refute the claim, asserting that no such promise had been made. He emphasized that Pakistan adheres to all international nuclear protocols and frameworks.
