In the 11th inning of their showdown with the Seattle Mariners on Monday night, the Arizona Diamondbacks snatched a clutch victory thanks to Josh Naylor's heroics at the plate.

PHOENIX — Geraldo Perdomo’s bases-loaded triple tied the game and Josh Naylor’s infield hit scored Perdomo with the winning run as the Arizona Diamondbacks scored five times in the ninth to shock the San Diego Padres 8-7 on Saturday night.

With one big swing, Diamondbacks first baseman Josh Naylor saved the day for Arizona, which defeated the Mariners on Monday night.

Josh Naylor hit a game-ending grand slam in the 11th inning and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Seattle Mariners 8-4 after losing closer Justin Martinez to an apparent injury with two outs in the ninth and then blowing a four-run lead.
