With the victory, Best Virginia has won their last six TBT games played in Charleston. They will host Maryland alumni team Shell Shock Monday, July 28 in the national quarterfinals. The game will be played at the Coliseum and Convention Center at 6 p.m. Shell Shock won the James Madison Regional Tuesday with a 68-62 win over NXT Era Elite.

Best Virginia went on to control the fourth quarter, including in the Elam ending, where they easily propelled themselves to the target score of 78 with a combined 9 points from Kedrian Johnson (5) and Reese V (4). In the end, it was Reese V hitting the floater from just inside the free throw stripe, giving Best Virginia the win, 79 -68.

Best Virginia is a regional champion once again. Despite trailing by a dozen points multiple times in the game, the WVU alumni team took down top-seeded Elite Nation 79-68 in the Charleston Coliseum Tuesday evening to claim the TBT West Virginia Regional Championship.
