The Detroit Tigers have had an amazing start to the year, but one of their starting pitchers' inconsistency has not been great for the team.

Flaherty allowed a leadoff homer in the first inning to Josh Smith. Corey Seager followed with another solo shot two batters later. Evan Carter went deep in the second, and slumping designated hitter Joc Pederson hit a two-run homer in the third.

The Detroit Tigers are off to a fantastic start to the season, and a lot of credit has to go to an improved lineup. Expectations were much higher for the Tigers coming into this year, and they have been living up to them so far.
