The Miami Dolphins defeated the New York Jets 31-10, extending their winning streak to four games. Dolphins running back De'Von Achane left the game in the second quarter with a rib injury. The Dolphins dominated the first quarter, scoring 21 unanswered points before the Jets scored on a punt return.
Achane exited in the first half with a rib injury. He did not return, finishing with 92 yards on seven carries and one touchdown. The speedster has rushed for 520 yards in the last four games. Backup running back Jaylen Wright stepped in for Achane and ran for 107 yards on 24 carries.
On Monday, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel spoke with the South Florida media and revealed that reserve offensive lineman Andrew Meyer would be returning to practice this week as the team plans to designate him to return from the injured reserve list.
