Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader and caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday granted full authority to the BJP’s central leadership to choose the next CM. At a press conference in Thane, Shinde made it clear that he would accept whatever decision the BJP leadership, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, takes.

Maharashtra: Sources said if Devendra Fadnavis becomes the CM, then Eknath Shinde can become the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In that case, he can also have the Ministry of Urban Development or PWD.

Eknath Shinde called PM Modi the head of the family. He said the BJP leadership mustn't consider him an obstacle in government formation.
