Utah's unique holiday, Pioneer Day, brings all kinds of activities — parades, a rodeo or two, and fireworks — to many different parts of the state.

Police are warning residents, workers and visitors to be prepared for "significant and potentially lengthy" road closures tied to big events happening in Salt Lake City on Pioneer Day.
