WARSAW, Poland (AP) — An unidentified flying object crashed into a cornfield and exploded in eastern Poland early Wednesday, the country’s news agency PAP reported.

A Polish general said early evidence points to the drone having a Chinese engine, and that it was likely "flying very low" to avoid radar.

Poland has firmly ruled out sending troops to Ukraine, delivering a strong and clear message in the ongoing conflict. Government spokesperson Adam Szlapka explained that Warsaw has no plans to participate in any military coalition,

A drone which crashed into a field in eastern Poland most likely came from the direction of Belarus, a regional prosecutor said on Thursday, following the incident described as a provocation by the defence minister.
