Texas football quarterback Quinn Ewers was listed as probable on Wednesday's availability report as the Longhorns prepare to renew their rivalry with Texas A&M. Ewers suffered an ankle injury in the Longhorns' victory over Kentucky last Saturday.

According to Nakos, Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers is unlikely going to be one of these star signal-callers to enter the transfer portal. Ewers' future is of potential interest given the presence of Arch Manning on the Texas roster.

Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers picked up an ankle injury ahead of Saturday's big-time rivalry rematch against the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station. Don't expect this to prevent the Texas-born kid from missing one of the biggest games in state history but ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that the injury will certainly be "lingering" for Ewers.

When Texas got the ball back, Ewers was given the honors of taking a knee in what is expected to be his final game at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium (unless Texas hosts a College Football Playoff game). The Longhorns travel to play No. 15 Texas A&M at Kyle Field in the return of the historic Lone Star Showdown for the first time since 2011.
