政府持續跟進大埔宏福苑火災的支援、善後和調查事宜。截至今日中午，政府成立的大埔宏福苑援助基金收到的外界捐款達25億元，連同政府投入的三億元啟動資金，基金總額約為28億元，會用於長期支援居民重建家園。
就大埔宏福苑火災，政府早前宣布向每個受災家庭提供五萬元生活津貼，民政及青年事務局局長麥美娟表示，該項津貼金額會提高至十萬元。
