The Smithsonian says the White House did not pressure it to remove references to President Donald Trump's impeachments from an exhibit.

A placard referring to Trump's two impeachments was removed in July, after the Smithsonian agreed to perform a "content review"

The decision comes as the White House exerts pressure to offer a more positive — and selective — view of American history.
