NEW YORK — The Beach Boys’ Mike Love was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame last Thursday night, just one day after it was announced that his inimitable bandmate Brian Wilson had died.

Love, a founder member of The Beach Boys, was inducted alongside music legends George Clinton, Michael McDonald and The Doobie Brothers.

Dan + Shay, John Stamos, Aaron Dessner, Alan Menken and Benj Pasek & Justin Paul are among the performers and presenters set for the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner, which is slated for Thursday (June 12) at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
