St. Joseph Catholic Church in Evangeline, Louisiana is one of thirteen churches in the Diocese of Lafayette dedicated to St. Joseph. Located in the West Deanery at the far end of the Diocese, the church parish was established in 1938 and is home to 300 Catholic families. In the Year of St. Joseph, the faithful are encouraged to pilgrimage to one of the St. Joseph churches to receive a plenary indulgence.
