The star is named TYC 8998-760-1 a young solar analog only ~17 million years old, located about 300 light-years away. Using the SPHERE instrument (which blocks out the star’s bright light), they revealed two giant exoplanets: TYC 8998-760-1 b and TYC 8998-760-1 c. These planets orbit far from their star much farther than Jupiter and Saturn
