It may be -40F out, but that doesn't keep the moose away! This is the same cow moose from yesterday that was poking around near park headquarters. She found a particularly tasty snack in this frozen willow tree. Amazingly enough, the 20 pounds of poplar, birch, and willow twigs moose eat on a daily basis allows for such a big mammal to survive the harsh winters of the cold North. | Denali National Park and Preserve
