Digital Modeling & Fabrication students have been working on a new design project, with a twist. Students had two and a half weeks to design CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to CAM (Computer-Aided Machining), a name plate, made from aluminum block, that has a function. Designs included a pen or business card holder, a can opener, and a pocket to hold paint brushes with a tray for water. Others contained intricate design details as well.
