Eric Schweig is a Canadian born Inuit actor, who may be best known for his work in the 1992 film, The Last of The Mohicans. He was born as Ray Dean Thrasher, in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. He is of mixed descent: Inuit, German, Portuguese and Senegalese. Schweig and all six of his siblings were taken from their mother as children and taken into the Canadian foster system, part of the 60s Scoop.
