We are delighted to share this short solo concert by one of the world's most celebrated fiddle players and a key figure in Irish traditional music Martin Hayes from his rural retreat in Northern Spain. Many of these tunes formed the basis of what would have been performed by him and his new group The Common Ground Ensemble who were due to perform at the NCH on the 14th and 15th March 2020 as part of the Perspectives series, before the concerts were cancelled. The concerts are due to be reschedul
