Red-fronted Macaws are a fairly recent arrival in Aviculture being unknown until the 1970s. They come from a dry area of Bolivia where they are endangered. Most populations nest in cliff faces but in one area they utilise dead palms as nests. In many aspects they remind me of giant conures. | Tony Silva
